Airport Ground Lighting
Coupe Foundry Ltd. is pleased to announce the acquisition of the Airfield Ground Lighting products previously manufactured by Lupton Smallshaw Castings and, prior to that, Castle Castings Ltd.
With the latest investment in new moulding equipment at Coupe Foundry (as seen in the October edition of the Foundry Trade Journal International) this created an extra free bay which was the perfect choice for the moulding and casting of these smaller castings.
By purchasing all the patterns and machinery this has given the foundry the ability to create a cell that produces castings and then fully machines and paints them offering the customers a one stop shop for these Airport products.
Robert Birch, the previous Managing Director of Lupton Smallshaw Castings, has joined Coupe Foundry as Specialist Sales Manager for these products. Roberts’ background is all foundry orientated with over 30 years experience at Lupton Smallshaw Castings and Castle Castings in the manufacture of these specialised products. We are sure he will be an asset to the foundry going forward.
